The ups and downs of entrepreneurship.

Good morning!

Last week, someone asked me to write about the mental ups and downs during our startup journey. Ups and downs are a natural part of life, even more acute and frequent in the a business building journey.

I spent most of the week how best to capture the ups and downs. And I think I've managed to boil it all down to one simple mantra.

👉 Focus on what you can control

Give it a read and share your thoughts with me. If you enjoyed it, give it a like on Twitter.

Closing notes

Whenever I'm trying to learn something new, I tend to become obsessed with it until I've consumed and digested enough information and practice in order to start feeling comfortable about it.

This past week, I was busy being obsessed with how to use Ahrefs and coming up with an SEO-backed content marketing strategy for something (secret, ssh) I'm working on. It's still a work in progress, so you'll be hearing more on it soon.

If you're reading this and you have experience with SEO and content marketing, do point me towards the best resources for a beginner who wants to learn and become great at it.

Until next week!

✌️

By the way, I teach a course on how to grow your startup using Programmatic SEO.

My course is a methodical and data-driven approach to finding keywords, understanding user intent and creating dozens or hundreds of pages of content.

Learn how to apply this framework to your business, whether it's ecommerce, SaaS, or even a side project and grow your business using Google Search Traffic and LLM AI Citations. No prior SEO knowledge required.
